[RECIPE]Low Calorie Post Workout Shake

Try out this low calorie protein packed shake that works great as a post workout recovery option.

There’s a common misconception among people who want to lose weight or get leaner that certain protein shakes will lead to weight gain.
When in reality, most protein powders are extremely low on calories, carbs, and fats. Adding more protein into your diet is a key component to actually losing weight.
Protein keeps you full longer than any other macronutrient. Thus, not requiring as many calories to fill you up.
Here is a recipe for a pretty low calorie post workout recovery shake.

RECIPE

– 10 oz water
– 1 cup frozen Strawberries
– 1/2 Banana
(Vanilla or Chocolate)
Nutrition Facts:

Total Calories: 242

Protein: 24g

Carbs: 32g

Fats: 2g

I recommend using a blender for this.
